Day with Respect for Both Cultures
At Serbia Zijin Mining, fostering strong relations between Serbian and Chinese colleagues goes together with respecting cultural traditions. This year, the company celebrated Serbian Orthodox Christmas on January 7th, honoring the customs that have been cherished throughout the company’s four years in Serbia.
As part of the tradition, Serbian employees cut an oak tree — a symbol of health, happiness, and well-being — and brought it into the company. Twigs of the oak tree were placed in offices shared by Serbian and Chinese colleagues, spreading festive cheer and good wishes.
The celebration highlighted unity, respect, and harmony, with colleagues exchanging heartfelt greetings and reinforcing the company’s commitment to a joyful, collaborative workplace.
